Onshore, Nearshore, Offshore, Blended Shore: Choosing the Right Litigation Support Strategy

Since the 1990s, outsourced litigation services have been traditionally delivered out of offshore, low-cost locations such as India, the Philippines and South Africa. But an increase in demand for such services by law firms and corporate law departments has led to the use of more sophisticated service delivery models – including the use of onshore, nearshore, or blended shore locations to deliver LPO services. Today, many firms are evaluating these outsourcing options and measuring the cost-savings potential for litigation matters.

Agenda

Chicago Litigation Outsourcing Conference and Exhibition, 25 – 26 Feb 2014

As the LPO market moves from providing single project services to end-to-end solutions, the shoring process has grown increasingly sophisticated on both the demand and supply side. Continued acceptance and globalization of legal outsourcing as well as labor market pressures have led to new shoring destinations in emerging markets from South America to South Africa. Today, corporate legal departments and law firms have myriad options when developing a litigation strategy that leverages LPO.

The Global Outsourcing Association for Lawyers (GOAL) invites you to join LPO professionals, law firm partners, in-house lawyers and legal departments, and government representatives to discuss the trends, benefits and risks of onshore, nearshore and offshore LPO strategies. This conference will help you determine the ideal shoring strategy to meet your litigation needs.
